Tarkington Student Foundation, Inc.

The purpose of the Tarkington Student Foundation (TSF) is to provide funds to all Tarkington graduates to help make up the difference between the cost of college and what the students and their families can afford.

In 2007 a number of community members and school officials met to organize a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, and the organization is ready to begin work to make our graduates’ dreams reality.

The challenge now is to raise the money necessary, and you too can join this effort to better prepare our graduates for their futures and, in turn, help our community.

Across the state, tuitions have gone up more than 40 percent since lawmakers voted in 2003 to let colleges set their own tuitions.

Tarkington High School’s students are pursuing post-secondary education. But, as evidenced by the ever-increasing costs, they need our support to make their dreams become realities.
